The purpose of this competition is to fill the position of: (University) Professor at the Institute of Philology, Department of English Studies. Contract for a fixed-term employment at Pomeranian University in Słupsk (Uniwersytet Pomorski w Słupsku) as a primary employment place. Full-time employment: 210 hours per academic year.

Post requirements: conducting academic research, publishing study results in scientific journals in the field of literature and culture, taking part in international conferences, applying for grants, teaching classes, including lectures and Bachelor’s and/or Master’s seminars.

Requisite qualifications: The purpose of this competition is to fill the 2 position of a Professor at the Department of English Studies, at the Institute of Philology, Pomeranian University in Słupsk. The candidate must be a holder of minimum a University Professor degree (doktor habilitowany) in the field of the humanities, in the discipline of linguistics and have experience working in an institution of higher education in the area of English studies (philology). The candidate should conduct research, submit a list of publications announced in high-ranking scientific journals and present a clear plan for their further scientific development. The candidate should possess teamwork skills.
