Reproductive management of mouse colonies.
Handling of animal genome editing techniques.
Handling of basic molecular biology techniques.

Specific Requirements

1.Be a Spanish national, a national of a member country of the European Union or a foreigner with a residence and work permit in Spain.
2. Be in posesion of Bachelor's or Bachelor's degree (with a Master's degree) in Biology, Biotechnology or Veterinary Science.
The minimum requirements must be accredited with those certificates that are valid in law, including all those that demonstrate the aforementioned professional experience, in line with the functions to be carried out and the assessment criteria.
In the case of qualifications obtained abroad, their homologation must necessarily be accredited.
The conclusion of the contract is subject to the availability of the project's budget and to the successful candidate's compliance with the requirements of current employment legislation. In case of non-compliance with the requirements, the next candidate will be contacted in order of score.

Benefits

- Type of contract:
Indefinite-term contract (art 23. Bis of Law 14/2011 LCTI).
Full time: 35 hours.
- Financial remuneration:
€2,303.78 gross per month including the proportional part of two extraordinary payments.

Eligibility criteria

1. Curricular assessment of merits and skills (0-12 points)
A degree in Biology, Biotechnology or Veterinary Science is required.
Scale of marks:
a) Complete Bachelor's or Bachelor's + Master's degree studies (0-8 pts).
b) Participation in research teams in related research projects
(0-1 pts)
c) Authorship in related research articles (0-1 pts)
d) Certificate of disability (0-2 points).
2. Assessment of professional experience: (0-15 points)
a) Training course for animal experimentation levels A, B and C (0-10 pts).
b) TFM related to the functions to be performed (0-1 pts).
c) TFG related to the duties to be performed (0-1 pt0).
d) Demonstrated experience in cryopreservation of embryos or gametes (0-1 pt0).
e) Demonstrated experience in microinjection/EP of embryos (0-1 pt0)
(f) Demonstrated experience in genotyping techniques (0-1 pt0)
3. Personal interview: (0-20 points).

Selection process

The selection process will be governed by the principles of publicity, equality, merit and capacity, and a selection body will be set up for this purpose, made up of representatives of the research group and of the Technical Management Unit of the IBSAL.
The selection process will consist of two phases:
1. Analysis and curricular assessment phase of all the applications received, classifying them on the basis of the best adaptation of the Curriculum Vitae to the established profile and compliance with the requirements.
2. Personal interview: the three candidates with the highest score in Phase 1 will be called, provided that the score in Phase 1 exceeds half plus one. The Selection Board may propose that the call for applications be declared void if no candidate is suitable for the post.

Additional comments

Once the process of receiving applications has been completed,the following actions will be published on the WEB:
- Publication of the resolution on the admission of applications with the list of persons admitted and not admitted according to minimum requirements and granting of a period of 5calendar days for the presentation of allegations.
- Publication of the resolution with the detailed provisional ranking and granting of a period of 5 calendar days for the presentation of allegations.
- Publication of the final decision with the definitive ranking and minutes of the IBSAL selection committee.
*The publication will have the effect of notification,this publication will replace the individual notification to the interested parties and will have the same effects.
The announcement shall be resolved, in general, with in fifteen working days from the date of submission of applications.
The resolution of the selective process will be published in the web page of the IBSAL
