Job title: Promoting local green infrastructures for the restoration of biodiversity, renaturalization and design of resilient landscapes in a climate change scenario in rural and urban areas of Galicia and North Portugal GREEN GAP
Research line / Scientific-technical services: Green infrastructure
PURPOSE OF CONTRACT: Collection, processing and analysis of sociological data of interest for the implementation of green infrastructure strategies in local entities of the Euroregion of the GREEN GAP project. Collaborator on activities related to the project/agreement stated.
MAIN TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT:
- Participation in the design, elaboration and analysis of environmental perception surveys within a local green infrastructure strategy, as well as in the valuation of ecosystem services and citizen acceptance of nature-based solutions.
- Collection and processing of data in the field and in the office. You will also be able to collaborate in technical reporting tasks.

Candidates must have a Baccalaureate, B.U.P., FPII or higher education degree. Knowledge and experience in territorial sociology studies, Geographic Information Systems, SPSS, secondary data sources and participatory methodologies will be valued. It will also be of interest to have participated in strategy and territorial planning projects with the use of geographic information technologies. Availability to travel, especially to Pontevedra and Ourense, will be a requirement.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Number of credits passed in the degree in Sociology and academic record of the accredited official university training (maximum 10 points).
- Accredited knowledge in Sociology of the territory, Geographic Information Systems, SPSS, Secondary Data Sources and Participatory Methodologies (maximum 20 points, 1 point for every 10 hours of training).
- Accredited experience in publications related to the tasks specified in this report (maximum 10 points).
- Accredited practical and/or professional experience in activities related to the tasks specified in this report (maximum 40 points, 10 points per year accredited according to the degree of affinity to the tasks).
For the three best scores in the previous sections it is also proposed:
- Personal interview (20 points) to assess technical solvency and communication and teamwork skills.
In the event that no candidate achieves a score higher than 50 points, the position will be vacant.
