Job title: Promoting local green infrastructures for the restoration of biodiversity, renaturalization and design of resilient landscapes in a climate change scenario in rural and urban areas of Galicia and North Portugal GREEN GAP
Research line / Scientific-technical services: Green infrastructure
PURPOSE OF CONTRACT: Processing and analysis of geographic data of interest for the implementation of green infrastructure strategies in local entities of the Euroregion of the GREEN GAP project, as well as support in project tasks that require advanced cartographic processing.
MAIN TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT:
- Processing and analysis of vector and raster geospatial data using Geographic Information Systems.
- Collaboration in the development of web mapping applications related to the management and analysis of green infrastructure, including data collection in citizen collaboration processes. He/she will also be able to collaborate in tasks related to the elaboration of technical reports of the project.

Candidates must have experience in the management of cartographic and territorial data, as well as advanced knowledge in the use of computer systems. Particularly interesting will be to have participated in projects related to geographic information technologies
Additional Information
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Academic record. The degrees in the fields of civil engineering will be valued at 100% and other related fields at 50% (maximum 10 points).
- Accredited knowledge of geographic information systems and programming (maximum 20 points, 1 point for every 10 hours of training).
- Accredited experience in activities related to the tasks specified in this report (maximum 50 points, 5 points for each accredited activity according to the degree of affinity to the tasks).
For the three candidates with the highest scores in the previous sections, the following will be considered:
- Personal interview (20 points) to assess technical solvency and communication and teamwork skills. In this interview, the elaboration of a practical exercise for the evaluation of the technical solvency in GIS can be proposed.
