Assistant professor in a group of research staff (Post-doc) in the Department of Applied Informatics and Computational Physics, Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, AGH University of Krakow

REQUIREMENTS:

1. PhD in physical sciences,
2. MSc degree obtained after 31.12.2011,
3. Good scientific achievements in solid state physics or computer physics,
4. Programming skills in one of the following languages: Python, C, C++, Fortran,
5. Ability to present research outcome confirmed by past presentations at international conferences and symposia,
6. Organizational experience,
7. Knowledge of English (B2 level at least).

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

1.  Application and CV with a personal questionnaire,
2. copies of diplomas or other certificates of the degrees and other qualifications,
3. description of scientific achievements (list of publications, books, articles, conference papers, research and applied reports/     studies, patents)  and organizational achievements (list of current and past positions/functions at the university and beyond),
4.  supervisor’s opinion or references from a previous workplace or periodic evaluation,
5. B2 level at least English certificate (not required for candidates for whom English is the first language).
