Project description

(in the case of project selectionprocedures / IDUJ)

Implementation of the National Science Centre OPUS21  project, the implementation of which concerns the design, synthesis and characterization of new luminescent molecular nanomagnets based on lanthanides, which will combine strong magnetic anisotropy and luminescent phenomena with high sensitivity to chemical stimuli and temperature. In the course of the project, it is planned to obtain such materials by functionalization of lanthanide ions carried out by the attachment of cyanide metalloligands. Planned resulting coordination systems in crystalline form, exhibiting the SMM effect and various luminescent effects, from sensitized emission in the vis-NIR range to up-conversion luminescence and quantum cutting.
