Offer Description
The “Institut Européen des Membranes” (IEM), founded in 1994 is a reference laboratory at the international level in the field of membrane materials and processes with research objectives based on a multidisciplinary approach and multi-scale:
– the development and characterization of new membrane materials;
– their implementation in membrane processes (effluent treatment, gas separation, biotechnologies related to food science and health….)
Main mission
Conduct research on the synthesis of Metal and Covalent Organic Framework (MOF & COF).
The research associate (M/F) will focus on synthesizing a library of novel hybrid MOF and COF for preparation of thin films and membranes.
Activities
The research associate (M/F) will work closely with the supervisor and a PhD student. Duties also include co-supervision of PhD students and lab management, which will enhance the candidate's experience and qualification.

- PhD in synthetic organic and reticular chemistry.
- A previous experience in synthesis and characterization of MOF and COF material is appreciated.
- A track record in high-quality original research and peer-reviewed publishing is essential
