Offer Description
Competition for the position of assistant professor in the research staff group at the Faculty of Chemistry in the Department of Process Engineering and Chemical Technology. The person employed in this position will participate in research and development of novel catalysts for ammonia electrooxidation.
TASKS/ ROLE
- development of the preparation methods of the catalytical materials using (electro)chemical methods
- advanced electrochemical testing of the materials (cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry etc.)
- advanced characterization of the materials
- spectroscopic and microscopic characterization of materials
- preparation of the reports and publications
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD degree in chemical sciences or chemical engineering discipline
- knowledge and experience in the field of nanomaterials preparation and characterization
- knowledge and experience in general catalysis and electrocatalysis
- published papers in the field of electrochemistry
- published papers in the field of materials science
- fluency in English level C1 (writing and speaking)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- ability to use programs for acquisition, analysis and visualization of measurement data (e.g. Origin) and graphic design (e.g. Corel)
