Offer Description
The main goal of the research activity will consist in the development of high-performance and low-power algorithms and software for machine learning and artificial intelligence, with particular emphasis on edge computing environments. More specifically, the research will address problems related to classification and/ or recognition of objects and materials in various application contexts ( e.g., SAR data processing, medical image classification, recognition of objects and materials scattered in the environment) through model adaptation techniques to reduce the dimensionality of collected data and their subsequent processing without interaction with remote servers.
