Research scientist at the Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics in the field of experimental neutrino physics

The position is focused on the international Hyper-Kamiokande experiment. The main focus of the work is to study the potential of the experiment: development of simulation, reconstruction and analysis software and analysis of simulated data. The work will be carried out in the group of Mgr. ing. Bedřich Roskovec, PhD.
Qualification and further requirements: Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) by the starting date in the field of particle physics, eventually in a related one. The applicant should have a general knowledge of neutrino physcis, experience with the data analysis and/or the software development in the experiments focused on particle physics, ideally on neutrino physics. Experience working in the team within the large international experiment is an advantage. Foreign business trips are expected as a part of this job.
Employment type and scope: Employment - full time, 40.0 per week
