University Assistant (must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree) for a Full-time, six-year position at the LIT Sustainable Transformation Management Lab

Job Duties:
- Independent research activities in the chair's research field "Management of Socio-Technical Transitions"
- Focus on the organization of openness with regard to different dimensions (e.g., inclusion, participation)
- Participation in research projects of the chair with a special emphasis on organizational openness (e.g., Open Science, Open Innovation), new forms of organization, and their transformative role in addressing societal challenges
- Draft, prepare, and teach university-level courses
- Supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
- Take part in academic administration
Your Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree (with honors or outstanding academic success) in business administration, sociology or a related social science subject
- Research on organizational openness and its constitution, with a focus on phenomena of digitalization (e.g., organizational processes on social media) as well as new forms of organization
- Qualitative methodological skills
- Willingness to contribute to the acquisition of third-party funded projects
- Didactic skills and experiences in teaching courses at Bachelor and Master level
- International experience and international research network
- Participation in scientific communities
- Publications in leading (inter-)national peer-reviewed journals
- Strong command of German and English (German level C2, English level C1)

- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 4,752.30 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
