Offer Description
Project description: This position is framed within the MULTI-FACT study, a research project that aims to develop a dedicated set of advanced tools for the reconstruction, analysis, and interpretation of fetal brain magnetic resonance imaging, with the aim to improve the diagnosis of abnormal neurodevelopment. The present post is expected to contribute to the project by developing user-interface and visual analytics tools that are clinician- and researcher-friendly (Work-Package 3, Task 5), to facilitate the clinical translation and use of the tools and algorithms generated within the project.
Tasks to be performed:
The tasks to performed are related to WP3.5 of the project MULTI-FACT:
- To develop a clinician/researcher-friendly user-interface and visual analytics tools to facilitate the clinical translation and use of the tools and algorithms generated within the project.
- To ensure all required data safety and privacy are fulfilled in the developed tools.
- Prepare reports and documentation of the developed technology & tools.
- Close interaction with clinical collaborators and national and international level.
Dedication and working hours: Full time (35h/week).
Planned remuneration approx: 34.238,86 € gross per year
Financing fund: Proyecto PRESP06121 - MCIN/AEI/UE - PCI2021-122044-2A Piella, Gemma, “Multi-centric study of Fetal Abnormal Cortical Trajectory with standardised and privacy-preserving method on fetal MRI”, financiado por MCIN/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 y por la Unión Europea Next GenerationEU/ PRTR, project that ends on 31/12/2024.

Requirements

- Expertise in computational neuroimaging and programming
- Good level of English (both oral and writing).
The expected start date is April 4th 2024, the job is in Barcelona.
Additional Information
Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:
- Academic Training adequate to the project tasks (0-20 points).
- Professional experience and Adequacy to the proposed profile (0-60 points):
- Experience in development of computer graphics or 3D processing/visualization applications.
- Prior experience in medical imaging and deep learning.
- Experience in computational neuroimaging.
- Other merits (0-20 points):
- Capacity to communicate in Spanish and Catalan.
- Good level of English (both oral and written).
The minimum score to pass the selection process is 80 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.
