Offer Description

The proposed position of research and teaching assistant professor will include research on methods of obtaining and characterizing the structural and electrical properties of ceramic ion conductors, with particular emphasis on the analysis of the local structure. The research will concern the characterization of oxygen ion conductors in various measurement conditions (temperature, atmosphere), including the study of reduction and oxidation reactions and the search for new research methods for these materials.

The candidate is expected to have very good knowledge of solid state physics, as well as knowledge of measurement techniques such as X-ray diffraction, neutron diffraction, X-ray absorption and impedance spectroscopy.

Working with students will also be important, including lectures, classes, laboratories and conducting diploma theses.

The candidate should also have documented scientific achievements.
