Offer Description
The Department of Physics at Bilkent University seeks candidates for permanent and visiting faculty positions at all levels starting in February and September 2024. We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in physics or related fields. While priority will be given to those in the broadly defined field of experimental Condensed Matter/Atomic Molecular and Optical Physics, exceptional candidates in other subfields will also be considered.
Successful candidates will be expected to conduct a vigorous research program and attract external funding with some reasonable teaching load.
Considerable central resources are available at Bilkent that can strengthen the research program and support interdisciplinary and collaborative research efforts. Applications will be reviewed as they are received on an ongoing basis, and the search will continue until the positions are filled.
