The Research Group Theory of Electron Dynamics and Spectroscopy is looking for
Postdoc (f/m/d) for Theoretical Spectroscopic Material Analysis
Your Tasks
- You are executing electronic-structure calculations of excited states in solids, cluster models and molecules.
- You utilize and extend the group?s own code for machine learning of spectra.
- You show engagement in the cooperation of experimentalists of HZB.
- You present your results at conferences and in scientific journals.
- You are responsible for the methodic training for students (e.g. in the HZB photon school).
Your Profile
- Very good education in quantum chemistry
- Experience in the utilization of quantum chemistry codes
- Programming skills, e.g. with Python
- Basic knowledge of machine learning
- Good command of written and spoken English
