Offer Description

1) Conducting research;

2) scientific development and publication of results in scientific journals and monographs of national or international scope;

3) participation in scientific research projects and assistance in the preparation of proposals for funding of scientific research projects;

4) teaching at a high level, including readiness to teach in English;

5) active participation in conferences;

6) active participation in the organisational life of the academic community, including organisational activities for the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology;

7) performance of tasks and duties assigned by superiors.

1) Holding a Doctoral or post-doctoral degree in the humanities or social sciences (preference given to those who have obtained a PhD in cognitive science or AI philosophy);

2) teaching experience;

3) proven academic achievements within the discipline of humanities (in the field of cognitive science or philosophy of AI);

4) fluency in spoken and written Polish and English;

5) preferably with experience in scientific research projects in cognitive science or philosophy.

Eligibility criteria

List of required documents to be submitted by the candidate(s):

1) application to the Rector to join the competition;

2) personal questionnaire, curriculum vitae (CV);

3) photocopies of higher education diploma(s) and diploma confirming the attainment of a Master's degree (in the case of diplomas obtained in an EU, OECD or EFTA member state, a sworn translation into Polish is necessary - in view of the wording of Article 328 of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on higher education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742);

4) a list of published scientific papers (years 2018-2024);

5) a list of research projects in which the candidate has participated;

6) copies of certificates, attestations and other documents confirming any additional qualifications;

7) opinion of the dissertation supervisor, if any, or references of the supervisor from the previous or current place of work;

8) declaration stating that the University of the National Education Commission, Krakow will be the principal place of work (in case of winning the competition);

9) a statement of knowledge and acceptance of the principles concerning intellectual property

and legal protection of intellectual property at the University of the National Education Commission, Krakow;

10) statement on meeting the conditions specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July

2018 r. Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742);

11) a declaration of lack of kinship in accordance with Article 118 of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742).
