Offer Description
The trend today is for “Battery-free equipment” to be deployed on the edge. Despite this can be done using dedicated PMICs (Power Management Integrated Circuits) together with ULP (Ultra Low-Power) microcontrollers/microprocessors, it remains a substantial challenge to infer when the energy is available. Monitoring the amount of energy within a battery, or within an SC (Super-Capacitor), could be used to determine when an energy-greedy task should be initiated, or when it should be stopped.
Your mission will be to search for a software solution for both environments: bare-metal environment, or when an embedded OS (Operating System) is running. You will work in a multicultural, and multidisciplinary, environment at the leading edge of the tech industry. The issues you will address are at the forefront of the present-day concerns, and the software you will design is expected to be released for production.
