Offer Description
The aim of this postdoc is to establish models of the maturation of neural circuits during the development of Danionella fish. Activity (and possibly behavioral) recordings will be combined with computational approaches combining statistical physics and machine learning to track the evolution of these circuits and understand the rules governing their changes.
The postdoctoral fellow will work on the analysis of data (calcium recordings) carried out on fish in the Jean Perrin laboratory, and then use these data to establish models of the maturation of the corresponding circuits during the organism's development.
The work will be carried out within the Statistical Physics and Inference for Biology Team and will require regular travel to our collaborator's site, Laboratoire Jean Perrin, SU.
