Offer Description
The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) is a centre for research, education, production and outreach, with the mission of envisioning the future habitat of our society and building it in the present. IAAC follows the digital revolution at all scales (from bits to geography, from microcontrollers to cities, from materials to the territory) to expand the boundaries of architecture and design and meet the challenges faced by humanity. IAAC is currently looking for a Researcher and Expert in EU funded projects for management and proposals writing
Our EU projects focus on:
- URBAN PLANNING/DESIGN AND REGENERATION (including urban analytics, data science, IoT, ICT, simulation platforms, gaming systems for participation, etc.)
- ARCHITECTURE AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES (Computation Design, Digital Fabrication, Robotic fabrication. Additive Manufacturing, etc.)
- ENVIRONMENT, ECOLOGY AND ECOSYSTEMS (nature-based solutions, nature & technology, material flows in urban environment, food production systems, etc.)
Main responsibilities
- Project Management of Creative Europe / Erasmus+ / H2020 projects including keeping contacts with the partners, developing interim and final project reports
- Organization of project events and activities
- Development of technical project reports
- Ensure regular content on the project website and social media
- Lead the development of Projects Proposals for the programmes Erasmus+, Creative Europe and H2020 or other EU or national funding schemes
Requirements

- Master Degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English and with basic level of Spanish – other languages are a bonus.
- Master’s graduate in a relevant field (architecture, design, computer science, social sciences, engineering, etc.). Other fields can be considered according to the candidate’s profile
- Autonomous and capable of making decisions
- Strong experience in project management of EU funded projects (Erasmus+, Creative Europe and H2020/Horizon Europe programmes)
- Strong experience in reports development and contents generation
- Strong experience in project events and activities organization
- Strong experience in proposals development
An EU national, or with a working permit for Spain.

Additional Information

- Full-time position (40 h week, from Monday to Friday) based in Barcelona.
