Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology announces a contract for the position of a research assistant
in the Department of Biotechnology and Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology (POSITION 1)
Time frame: full-time employment
Number of available positions: 1
Type of employment contract: fixed-term contract, 27 months

Requirements

a) education: a university degree in the field of engineering science (for example, in chemical engineering/materials engineering)
b) work experience: min. 4 years of laboratory work (this includes the period of implementation of the doctoral thesis)
c) experience in the implementation of projects funded by the National Science Center and/or the National Center for Research and Development in the field of basic research and/or research and development in the position of Project Manager
d) documented knowledge of the English language
e) necessary professional skills or qualifications:
- Knowledge of topics in the field of polymeric materials or chemical technology or chemical engineering or materials engineering, especially in the field of photopolymerization processes and photochemically induced process monitoring techniques confirmed by publications in international journals
- The ability to operate scientific apparatus such as photo-DSC, real-time photo-reometer, real-time photo-FT-IR
- The ability to plan and carry out research independently
- Possession of scientific achievements, documented by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the discipline of materials engineering, chemical engineering (first author of at least 10 publications in international journals), international conference presentations and co-authorship of national patents (at least 5) and patent applications

c) ability to work independently, reliably and responsibly to fulfill the assigned responsibilities
