Research Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a full-time, temporary position (can be extended) at the LIT Factory

Job Duties:
- Collaboration in a research project on data ecosystems along the value chain in plastics processing
- Definition and setup of data streams along the value chain
- Conception of a data space for the secure and sovereign exchange of data (e.g. based on Gaia-X)
- Implementation of data infrastructures to map the value chain in the data space
- Consolidation of stakeholder interests along the value chain
Your Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must hold a completed diploma or master's degree in the field of polymer processing, mechatronics, computer science, mathematics, physics or related disciplines with a corresponding focus
- Good knowledge in the field of software development
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken (level B2+)
- Conceptual way of working
- Structured way of thinking
- Ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of the data economy system and Gaia-X is an advantage
- Knowledge of protocols for machine-to-machine communication is an advantage
- Knowledge of polymer processing is an advantage

- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,578.80 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
