Offer Description
Job functions:
Design and synthesis of faradaic nanomaterials for electrochemical energy storage.
Synthesis of metal alloys and hybrid nanomaterials to be used either as anode or cathode.
Complete physicochemical characterization of materials.
Develop scalable synthesis routes for the promising materials.
Electrode preparation, coin cell and monolayer pouch cell fabrication, and electrochemical testing of nanomaterials.
Process and analyze the results obtained from the characterization tests, give conclusions, and provide ideas to improve nanomaterials performance.
Participate in communication with companies and proposals preparation when required.
Area: Electrochemical energy storage (EES)

PhD in chemistry, materials science or related fields.
Experience on material synthesis and physicochemical characterization (XRD, XPS, ss-NMR…)
Experience in coin cell assembly and electrochemical methods.
A team player who can collaborate with colleagues in other groups, technical centers, and industries.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
