We are looking to appoint a candidate (0.7FTE) to support the Principal Investigators Dr Katriona O’Sullivan, and Dr Marian Crowley-Henry on the PROMOTE project. Promote will build a nation-wide training and learning network for early career female researchers-academics (ECFRAs) across disciplines. Several higher education institutions will partner to develop a subscription-only encrypted platform where members can access learning resources for career progression, including successful and unsuccessful publications, promotion applications, job and research grants, and a networking space for knowledge exchange. We will also host four regional training events across the HEI partners, focusing on publications, promotion, research grants and network building.

The focus of the researcher will be to build the network, to coordinate the networking event, and to work alongside a researcher from the SFI centre, INSIGHT to develop the platform.

Post-Doctoral Researcher (2023) Salary Scale: €42,783 per annum, pro rata (1 point)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
