2 positions of research assistants

National Institute of Materials Physics, with headquarters in Magurele Atomistilor street 405A, Ilfov county, organizes a competition for filling of two positions of scientific research assistant-doctoral students within the project "Artificial synapses based on ferroelectric tunnel junctions for neuromorphic and analogue computing (ARSYF).", project director Professor Athansios Dimoulas.
The employment is done with an individual work contract for the specified period, between 15.02.2024-30.06.2026, 8 hours/day.
Job duties for position 1: deposition of thin layers by different methods, structural characterization, measurements of electrical quantities, work in a clean room, manufacturing of memristor devices, data processing and analysis, elaboration/editing of scientific papers.
Job duties for position 1: theoretical modeling of memristor type devices, numerical simulations, development of algorithms for neural networks based on memristors.
