Offer Description
Use modeling and deep learning approaches to study the conformational changes of a membrane transporter
Analyze the conformational intermediates obtained experimentally by the project partner to identify the key elements of the transition mechanism. Conduct comparative analyzes for other proteins of the same family whose structures are known or predicted.
The research will be carried out at the Laboratory of Biology and Cell Modeling (LBMC) located at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon.
The CDD researcher will be part of the DAMM Dynamic and Control of Biological Assemblies and Macromolecular Machines team as part of the ANR BmrAMeca project.
The project will be supervised by Juliette Martin, Riccardo Pellarin and Paulo Souza.

Additional Information
The ideal candidate (M/F) should have initial training in macromolecule modeling or bioinformatics with knowledge in one or more of the following areas :
-Computer science
-Molecular biology
- Molecular dynamics
-Chemistry
- Statistics
Programming skills are required, as well as experience working on Unix systems and computing clusters.
Fluency in written and spoken English as a working language is required.
The ability to work in a team and with experimental partners is essential.
