Rector of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków announces a competitive selection process for the post of an ASSISTANT in the group of research and teaching staff  in the Department of Literary Culture of the Borderland (Faculty of Polish Studies) in the academic field of Literary Studies or Studies on Cultures and Religions.

Eligibility criteria

The competition may be entered by persons who meet the requirements specified in Art. 113, 116 section 2 point 4 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, and in par. 166 of the Statute of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

Selection process

The candidates, who would like to take part in the competitive selection process, should send the following documents either by email to p.kraska@uj.edu.pl OR by post to The Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, ul. Gołębia 16, room 45, 31-007 Kraków, Poland:

Obligatory documents:

  1. CV
  2. personal questionnaire filled in by the candidate;
  3. copy of the master’s diploma, if applicable;
  4. information on the candidate’s scientific, teaching and organisational achievements;
  5. declaration of the candidate, confirming that the Jagiellonian University will be their primary place of work, should they be selected in the competitive selection process;
  6. declaration under Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science;
  7. declaration on acknowledging and accepting the rules and regulations concerning intellectual property management and commercialisation in force at the Jagiellonian University;

Additional documents:

  1. list of publications, if any;
  2. information concerning teaching activities carried out by the candidate, if any;
  3. recommendation concerning the candidate’s ability to work as an academic teacher, including the results of student surveys and evaluations, if the candidate was subject to such evaluation.
