Offer Description
The researcher will work on the design of a pricing scheme for methane emissions from the European electricity sector, which shall be both politically and legally feasible, as well as suitable for being embedded in the EU-ETS European emission market.
Expected output: The researcher will contribute to the development of a theoretical model concerning the choice of the input mix and output level of power plants in a partially competitive market, and will use it as a tool to perform an ex-ante evaluation of the theoretical efficiency of various pricing schemes for methane emissions.

General Equilibrium Theory
During the interview, knowledge of ENGLISH will be assessed.
The recruitment will be sensitive to the cross-cutting priorities of the PNRR in relation to
generational, gender and territorial equality of opportunity

Additional Information
The research fellowship amounts to Euro 37.696,66.=per year, gross to the recipient, net of the expenses to be sustained by the Provider. The amount may be subject to adjustment in the event of variations in the law
The selection is made through evaluation of candidates' scientific and professional qualifications, curriculum vitae, scientific production, followed by an interview
Scientific products
The research fellow, at the end of his/her activity must also provide the department with the
following scientific products:
An academic paper in English, co-authored with the project PI, which includes the main
findings of the research activity;
Other papers written by the researcher on topics related to the project;
A policy brief in English, targeting a wider audience (policymakers, institutions, media),
which summarizes the goals and results of the research activity and aims to maximize its
impact beyond the academic sector
The selection will take into account the cross-cutting priorities of the PNRR in relation to
generational, gender and territorial equal opportunities
