Contest point 15 - Doctoral Student

Knowledge and laboratory practice in the field of organic chemistry 

In addition to the application form document, applicant needs to provide: Curriculum Vitae (CV), Diploma, Supplement (undergraduate and graduate, i.e. integrated studies) confirming which exams were passed and which grades obtained, e-mail address of at least one referee, and other evidence needed for satisfying position related selection criteria.

Experience in organic synthesis and organometallic catalysis.

Prerequisites for Appointment to Doctoral student position.
In addition to the general conditions for employment, applicants must meet the requirements stipulated in Article 43. in the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act and:

Master. degree in chemistry ..
 

The following should be attached to the application form: resume, evidence of the required academic degree and evidence on the fulfilment of other requirements.
Appointment to a Doctoral student position  is for temporary period for 4 years.

Select candidates who have achieved their higher qualifications outside Croatia will be required, before the signing of the employment contract, to obtain the Ruling on the Recognition of Foreign Higher Educational Qualifications issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.

With an applicant for the position of Doctoral Student (Assistant position) who has already been employed in the position of Doctoral Student (Assistant position) in the Republic of Croatia, the employment can be contracted only on the remaining time of up to five years.

The employment includes a six-month trial period.

ln accordance with Article 13 of the Gender Equality Act, persons of both sexes may compete in hiring competitions. Late applications and applications without proof that the required prerequisites have been met will not be considered, as well as applications without a specified position and contest point to which the candidate is applying and applications submitted unaccordingly to the instructions for electronic submission.
