Job description

The division for Real Estate Business and Financial Systems is looking for a researcher with a background in working life and organizational research with a gender perspective. The research program "Men in Focus" examines homosocial cultures within the financial industry, academia, the construction industry and the cultural sector. As a researcher, you will work in the parts of the project that are aimed at the financial industry and academia. The tasks involve independently conducting literature reviews and collecting empirical material through interviews and document studies, analyzing the material and presenting the same in articles. The work will be led by and carried out together with docent Lotta Snickare.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • You have a doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree 
  • You have experience of research and publications on academic organizations and/or the financial industry with a gender perspective
  • You have experience in research with an intersectional perspective.
  • You have knowledge of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality 
  • As a person, you are used to working independently with high research expertise within the framework of a research project.
  • You have the persistence and performance orientation required to complete the project in a number of publications.

Preferred qualifications

  • You have teaching abilities and can, by informing about research results, work towards these being utilized in practice.
  • You have a track record of successful collaboration with researchers both within and outside your own organization.
  • You have experience of developing and leading activities and staff.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.

About the employment

The employment is valid for a limited time according to the agreement - for up to 12 months, with start 1th of March 2024.
