Offer Description

You will work in the Georesources Department (DGR), in the Subsoil Analysis, Imaging and Modelling (CIM) unit. This cross-functional team from the Georesources Department (DGR) provides its expertise in geological modelling, database management, geomatics, and regional geophysics.

The airborne geophysics team regularly conducts and operates airborne geophysical surveys nationwide (Hexagon, overseas departments and collectivities) and internationally.

In this context, you will be involved in the planning, preparation, monitoring, and quality control of airborne geophysical surveys (electromagnetism, magnetism, and gamma spectrometry).

You will also be involved in the processing, modelling, and interpretation of the acquired data. In general, you will participate in operational and R&D projects that combine geophysics and geology, addressing diverse themes such as 3D multi-scale mapping and modelling, hydrogeology, geomaterials, mineral resources, risks, and geothermal energy.

You will also participate in projects aimed at enhancing and optimising the processing of multi-scale geophysical data, especially airborne data.
