Offer Description

The activities will be carried out within the IPANEMA HR project. In the field of marine science research, it is essential to use carefully calibrated instruments and sensors, both for activities at sea and for laboratory experiments. The Oceanographic Calibration and Metrology Centre (CTMO) of the OGS has launched an extensive program to expand its research areas, ranging from the physical to the chemical and biological. Among the new sensors, particular attention will be paid to those that are crucial for conducting studies related to the geological confinement of CO2 (CCS – Carbon Capture and Storage). In this context, the candidate will collaborate in testing the correct functioning of specific sensors, as well as in using these sensors in experiments mainly related to the field of biology (field acquisition and mesocosm experiments).
