Offer Description
Internationally recognized generalist engineering school of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), leading French engineering school (Technological University), IMT Atlantique aims to support transitions, train responsible engineers, and use scientific excellence to serve teaching, research and innovation.
As part of the PEPR5G project, which aims to study the integration of topologies in different systems, such as antenna feed networks, we are recruiting a post-doctoral fellow in Design of coaxial RF passive components for 5G applications.
In collaboration with the DH team of Lab-STICC within the Micro-Waves (MO) department of IMT Atlantique, you will contribute to the design of resonators and possibly associated filters for feed networks and antenna arrays based on coaxial topologies, you will participate in the fabrication of demonstrators and their experimental characterizations.

You are familiar with filter and antenna design methods, 3D EM simulation tools (Ansys HFSS), circuit simulation (ADS Keysight) and multiphysics (SPARK3D, PIC).
You have experience of microwave measurement methods (calibration, S-parameter).
You are able to work as part of a research team and interact with a wide range of contacts (industrial partners, subcontractors, suppliers).
You must hold a doctorate in physics obtained less than 3 years before the date of recruitment.
