Rector of the University of Szczecin announces a competition for the position of assistant professor (in the field of logistics) at the Institute of Management of the University of Szczecin

Requirements:
- doctoral degree in engineering and technical sciences, preferably in mechanical engineering or an academic degree in social sciences, preferably in logistics,
- experience in conducting research work, confirmed by a list of publications and reports, scientific and technical studies (min. 5 items), including at least 1 publication on the list of journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education with a number of points awarded not less than 100 from the last year (in the discipline of management and quality science or mechanical engineering)
- experience in using methods of computer-aided production and logistics processes, processing and visualization of logistics processes using specialized systems enabling the implementation of intelligent robotic systems, including systems cooperating at workstations with humans, programming computer-controlled devices, including robots, CNC technological systems and skills in the integration of production systems with transport and manipulation systems, diagnostics and control confirmed by participation in scientific conferences, seminars and symposia, certificates of training, internships, teaching experience, etc.
- knowledge of English allowing conducting classes in a foreign language.
Candidates entering the competition should submit the following documents:
- a statement of compliance with requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742 as amended) (downloadable form)
- an application letter;
- candidate’s CV and questionnaire;
- certified copies of documents confirming obtaining a doctoral degree in the field of engineering and technical sciences, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering, or a scientific degree in the field of social sciences, preferred in the field of logistics and in the case of documents prepared in a language other than Polish, also a certified translation of the document into Polish and a certificate of equivalence of the diploma with the Polish academic degree;
- information about academic achievements (including a list of publications) and didactic and organizational accomplishments or a declaration about lack thereof;
- a statement that the University of Szczecin will be the candidate’s main place of work;
- a candidate’s consent for the processing of personal data by the University of Szczecin in the recruitment process on a form available at the university’s website.
