Criterion 1. Absolute merit of the candidate, considering his/her performance in the master's and bachelor’s degree, or integrated master's degree (50%);
Criterion 2. knowledge and experience for the project, including (but not limited to), ML/AI techniques, deep learning, probabilistic inference, image processing, semantic segmentation, Python/Matlab programming skills, PyTorch or Tensor Flow experience (50%);
b) Interview (should it occur)
Criterion 1. Motivation to work on the project (50%);
Criterion 2. Competence in the oral response to questions on the selection criteria subjects (50%).
Composition of the Selection Jury: Prof. Cristiano Premebida; Doutor Luis Garrote; Prof. Urbano Nunes.
