Your function

 

  • You are responsible for the international marketing of UHasselt concerning the EURECA-PRO network.
  • You manage the “Branding” project of the EURECA-PRO network - developing a complete branding exercise of the European network.
  • You participate in Student Recruitment / Recruitment of international students for the international programs of the network.
  • You help set up strategic guidelines in the field of student recruitment and general international marketing.
  • Thanks to your diplomatic approach, you can convince the partners to achieve the objectives of these projects.
  • You will work closely with the UHasselt EURECA-PRO coordinator and the EURECA-PRO communication network.
  • You participate in the workgroups and marketing task force of EURECA-PRO.
  • You support the Eureca-Pro network with expertise in digital marketing activities.

Your team

UHasselt recently joined the European alliance EURECA-PRO. As a result, UHasselt now forms part of a network of 9 universities across 8 different European countries. The EURECA-PRO alliance collaborates around the domains of education and research to help achieve the United Nations sustainable development goal 12: "Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns".
 

EURECA-PRO falls under the European Universities Initiative of the European Commission. Europe has allocated a budget of 1.1 billion euros to facilitate the formation of alliances between universities across Europe.
 

In addition, we want to encourage students from all over the globe to take up their studies at UHasselt.

Skills/Qualifications
  • You obtained a master's degree, preferably in a relevant field such as Communication, International Relations, Marketing. Experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
  • Minimum required level of English: C1 (spoken and written). Required level of Dutch: reading and comprehension of conversations.
  • You are passionate about marketing and familiar with the latest trends in digital marketing.
  • You are interested in and want to further expand your knowledge within the international higher education landscape.
  • You feel at home in an intercultural and international working environment
  • You are able to (make analyzes and) report adequately on the progress of the project.
  • You communicate fluently and with pleasure, both in writing and orally.
  • You are a team player and proud to be an ambassador for UHasselt.
  • You are hands-on, driven and able to take the initiative in growing and supporting marketing activities at UHasselt.
  • You are flexible, willing to travel and occasionally work evenings or weekends.
  • You are familiar with Gmail and other Google apps and skilled in current MS Office applications.

Benefits

You will be appointed as Administrative and Technical Staff and paid by class 5.
We offer a fixed-term contract for 2 years with the possibility of extension in case of sufficient financing. You will join the enthusiastic team of the Marketing and Communications department. Our office is located in the city centre of Hasselt, easily accessible by bike and public transport. Public parking is within walking distance. Selection process

The selection procedure consists of a preselection based on application file, an introductory interview, a in-depth interview (with assignment) and an assessment center. If required, a selection exam can be held after preselection.
