The department currently has around 50 employees and numerous laboratories and large-scale facilities are assigned to it, including the Jülich solar tower and a molten salt test platform in Portugal operated in cooperation with the University of Évora. As Head of Department, you will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the department together with your colleague in Jülich.
