Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (several posts) in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 524370), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or other relevant disciplines, and a strong background in photophysics, luminescent organic/organometallic materials and organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). They should have a good publication track record and experience in conducting scientific research projects. They should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The appointee will work on a ITF project to develop novel organometallic OLED emitters, under the supervision of Professor C. M. Che. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered (successful applicants can apply for Research Talent Hub for ITF projects), in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
