Offer Description
The offer is addressed to a candidate who meets the following requirements:
- holds a PhD degree in the humanities and in the field of linguistics,
- has appropriate scientific achievements in the field of broadly understood communicology,
- speaks fluent Polish and English at an advanced and professional level,
- has documented knowledge of Polish and English language at an advanced and professional level,
- should be prepared to teach and has experience in conducting classes covering the theory and models of communication and broadly understood communicology in Polish and English,
- should be prepared to teach and has experience in conducting classes involving communication skills in Polish and English.

The competition is open to individuals who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574, i.e. Article 113 as amended) and who meet the following requirements:
- PhD degree in humanities and in the field of linguistics,
- documented knowledge of Polish and English language at an advanced and professional level,
- documented experience in conducting classes in Polish and English,
- documented publications in the field of linguistics.
The candidate should be prepared to teach and and has experience in teaching:
1) covering the theory and models of communication and broadly understood communicology in Polish and English, and
2) communication skills in English.

1. list of publications (scientific or popular science articles published and/or reviewed),
2. documented experience in presenting research results at conferences (national and/or international),
3. documented experience in conducting classes at the academic level in Polish and English,
4. is ready to prepare and conduct trial classes in the scopes included in the description of the job offer,
5. Has excellent social skills and the ability to work with others.
- Competition committee begins working no later than 14 days after the deadline for submission of documents.
- Formal evaluation of submitted proposals.
- Call to provide additional or missing documents if necessary.
- Selection of candidates for the interview stage.
- Interviews for candidates who meet the formal requirements.
- The committee has the right to request external reviews of candidates' work or to ask candidates to conduct teaching assignments with an opportunity for student evaluation.
- The chair of the competition committee announces the results and informs the candidates. This information will include justification with a reference to candidates' strengths and weaknesses. Submitted documents will be sent back to candidates.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop a scientific career by conducting research and publishing his/her results with the participation of other researchers in the field. He/she will also have the opportunity to apply and participate in research projects, which will enable him/her to further scientific development in the field of linguistics. Will have a clear impact on the didactic and research development of the Institute/Department in which he/she will be employed.
