Offer Description
The postdoctoral fellow will be an essential part in advancing the scholarly mission of the project and producing significant relevant publications in peer reviewed academic journals or conferences. The postdoctoral fellow will assess the production costs of the different fossil fuel categories. He/she will use the TIMES Integrated Assessment Model from the University College London (TIAM-UCL) to calculate the economic cost for fossil fuel right owners of leaving unburnable fuels untapped (estimating the opportunity cost).

Analyst or economist with a strong background on the energy sector, in particular on the assessment of production costs of the different fossil fuel categories. Expertise with models and multicriteria decision analysis. Expertise with the TIMES Integrated Assessment Model from the University College London (TIAM-UCL) and multicriteria analysis decision it will be valued. Also, command of basic econometric tools to calculate the economic cost for fossil fuel right owners of leaving unburnable fuels untapped (estimated by the opportunity cost) will be an asset. Significant track record on relevant publications in peer reviewed academic journals.
Researcher in environmental sciences as an essential part in advancing the scholarly mission of the project and producing significant relevant publications in peer-reviewed academic journals or conferences. Gross salary per year: 22.050,00€
