Offer Description
Applicant will conduct scientific research and teaching the area of environmental engineering in particular in remote sensing of Earth's surface, Geographic Information Systems, computer sciences, and data analysis.
Lectures and classes with students, teaching and research duties in the area of environmental engineering such as remote sensing of Earth's surface, Geographic Information Systems, computer sciences, and environmental statistical and geostatistical data analysis

Candidates are required to possess:
- completed higher education with a master’s degree or equivalent,
- a doctoral degree (PhD) in the field of environmental engineering, mining, and power engineering obtained no earlier than in 2017 (a doctoral degree defended with distinction will be an additional advantage),
- at least 15 scientific papers indexed in the Scopus database (documented with a printout on the day of submitting documents),
- co-authorship of at least 4 papers in the first quartile, and at least 1 paper in the first decile according to the list: https://www.badawcza.pw.edu.pl/Media/Files/CS_-D1_Q1_06_10_23,
- co-authorship of papers in which the health risk was estimated,
- management of a grant financed under the competitions organized by the Polish National Science Center, (Polish) National Centre for Research and Development the Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe program, etc.,
- contractor in at least 2 grants financed as parts of competitions organized by the (Polish) National Science Center, (Polish) National Centre for Research and Development the Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe program, etc.,
- experience in conducting air quality measurements.
