Professorship for SOFTWARE ENGINEERING IN CYBER-PHYSICAL SYSTEMS
In accordance with § 94 Sec. 2 subpara. 1 of the 2002 Austrian Universities Act, Linz Institute of Technology at the Johannes Kepler University Linz announces a faculty opening for a University Professor for Software Engineering in Cyber-Physical Systems
The Linz Institute of Technology at Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for a permanent professorship position under private law for a
Professor for Software Engineering in Cyber-Physical Systems
to begin immediately. The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act. An evaluation will be conducted after a five-year period.
The successful candidate is expected to represent and further develop the field of software engineering in cyber-physical systems in research and teaching. Applicants for the position must have a venia docendi (habilitation degree) or a comparable post-doctorate qualification in the academic field. A salary above the minimum amount (which is currently 89,075.00 € before taxes) as stated in the collective agreement will be voluntarily offered.
