The development of the prototype of cyanobacteria platform for efficient production of therapeutic peptides: By redesigning the metabolic pathways of cyanobacteria we will transform traditional cyanobacterial cells into extraordinary photosynthetic production cells (Photomachines). Photomachines are poised to revolutionize the production of valuable compounds (Secondary metabolites with therapeutic properties, pigments and fatty acids) produced in cyanobacteria with unprecedented efficiency. Specific tasks include microbiology, molecular biology (cloning, cell transformation, nucleic acid and protein analysis) and bioinformatic with the focus on protein modelling and omic data analysis.
