Offer Description

We seek a candidate for the assistant position in the research staff group at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
Employment within the project BE-LIGHT MSCA DN EU - “Face skin analysis using multimodal imaging and machine learning methods”. According to the rules of the funding program and national law, a candidate must fulfill all the requirements that are related to: BE-LIGHT MSCA DN EU project requirements, the Gdańsk University of Technology requirements for a research assistant, and the Gdańsk University of Technology Doctoral School requirements. The condition for employment is admission to the Gdańsk University of Technology Doctoral School.

TASKS/ ROLE
The duties of the person employed in this position will include:
- participation in the work of a research team in the development of medical diagnostic methods using machine learning methods
- conducting scientific research on the development of diagnostic imaging methods using machine learning and image processing, in particular related to the role within the BE-LIGHT project in the topic R7: Face skin analysis using multimodal imaging and machine learning methods
- development of an environment for carrying out experimental research through the preparation and development of software, phantoms, computer hardware and other elements related to experimental research stations
- creating, maintaining and developing databases related to scientific research
- preparation and participation in the development of scientific publications related to the implementation of research and development of research infrastructure
- participation in the activities of the BE-LIGHT project, in particular in international training such as: schools, workshops, practical training, etc. The candidate must declare that he will participate in all these activities
- active participation in the classes of the Doctoral School of the Gdańsk University of Technology and timely and reliable fulfillment of all related duties
