- THE ROLE -

The post holder will be an impactful world-leading researcher in the field of translational drug discovery. They will lead and advance research and education within the School of Biomedical Sciences focusing on translational drug discovery and how it relates to biomedical science, healthcare, nutrition, or optometry. The appointee will direct a programme of research in line with University and Faculty / School objectives and emerging growth deal initiatives such as the Centre for Food and Drug Discovery on the Coleraine campus.

 - ABOUT YOU -

The postholder will be required to have:

• A PhD in an area relevant to translational drug discovery.
• Participated in or have a willingness to participate in University Leadership and Management Programmes (or equivalent).
