Offer Description
- You are responsible for supporting and managing ongoing and future research projects aiming the development of novel radiopharmaceuticals.
- You design execute and manage experiments regarding organic medicinal chemistry, radiolabelling, analysis and preclinical evaluation of novel radiopharmaceuticals.
- You are responsible for planning, execution, reporting and guiding technical staff involved in performing experiments with radiopharmaceuticals.
- You guide and train master- and PhD students for their experiments and reporting (including publications and theses).

Additional Information
We offer a full-time position for 2 years (with possibility to extend) in a stimulating international research environment in the heart of Europe allowing you to further expand your scientific and technical skills.
- You have a PhD in sciences, chemistry, pharmaceutical or biomedical sciences or equivalent.
- You preferentially have at least 1 year of relevant postdoctoral experience working with radiopharmaceuticals and/or medicinal chemistry.
- You have expertise with regard to organic chemistry and analysis/characterisation ((radio)HPLC-MS, NMR).
- You preferentially have strong technical skills with regard to radiolabelling (including working with automated radiosynthesis modules) with radionuclides for PET/SPECT imaging and/or radionuclide therapy.
- You preferentially have or are willing to obtain relevant experience with in vitro/in vivo preclinical evaluation of novel radiopharmaceuticals including microPET, autoradiography and biodistribution studies en quantification of radiometabolites.
- You have experience or are willing to learn to perform experiments involving small laboratory animals.
- You have good communication and didactic skills.
- You work accurately and have at least notions of GMP-compliant working
