Offer Description

Research work will be carried out in the Institute of Experimental Physics, Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw, within the project "Spin noise spectroscopy of emerging materials for opto-spintronics" financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for preparation of the experimental setup for noise spectroscopy, including preparation of required software, and for carrying out the experiments with the use of that setup. The aim of the research is to explore new material systems with properties suitable for future spintronic and opto-spintronic devices. The measurements will be usually carried out at liquid helium temperature, often at high magnetic field.

  2. Experience with characterization measurements done with the use of optical spectroscopy.
  3. Good knowledge of basic optics and condensed matter physics.

Additional Information

Benefits

Full-time position based on contract of employment with associated vacation days according to Polish law. Remuneration: 120 000 PLN/ year (total employer cost).
