We are seeking to fill the position of Specially Appointed Associate Professor (Full-time) to lead the educational activities and administration of the Human Sciences International Undergraduate Degree Program as well as to be involved in the expansion of the International College at Osaka University.

[Work content and job description]
1) Education and administrative duties as director of the Human Sciences International Undergraduate Degree Program including admissions, program strategy and evaluation.
*This role involves providing approximately four courses per semester, including dissertation-related courses, as well as supervising students. Lectures and seminar classes for one course are given once a week per subject per semester, for a total of 15 weeks).
*Some courses will be held at the Toyonaka Campus
2) Serve on committees related to the running of the program
3) Contribute to the development and diversification of programmes offered by the International College at Osaka University and strengthening cooperation with related faculties and institutions.
4) Research activities related to the above areas.

Annual salary:7 million yen - 8 million yen
Wages description:Based on “48. Salary Regulations for National University Corporation Osaka University Limited Term Staff (Specially Appointed Staff, etc.) Subject to Annual Salary System”
Remuneration:7,713,600JPY ~per annum, on the basis of responsibilities assigned (described in “6. Job Description”) and depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Commuting allowance is provided. Please note that a housing allowance, dependent allowance, retirement allowance and bonus are included in the above-mentioned annual salary and will not be provided.
