Offer Description

Experimental and computational research of the realization of an Alzheimer Biomarker through

Microscopy and eye fundus Images.

One of the most promising approach for the early diagnosis of the Alzheimers’s disease is the retinal investigation.  

In this project we propose to: 

-finalize the experimental realization of a super-resolution ophthalmoscope prototype based on structured light illumination 

-Create data analysis software capable of improving the retinal images quality 

-Create a data analysis system useful for extracting the sensitivity and efficiency of the instrument on data obtained from Alzheimer's patients and controls. 

 It is therefore required: 

1.              Knowledge of software platforms, (Matlab, phyton, c++), and basics of programming and creation of machine learning architectures 

2.             Knowledge of the principles of optics, microscopy, fluorescence, super resolution 

3.             Realization of deep learning architectures for machine learning, e image enhancement 

4.             Software instruments and libraries like: Pitorch,  Keras, tensorflow.

Specific Requirements

At least four years of Post doc experience. and experience in the field of image analysis or photonics and classical optics, experimental experience in optics. Experience in machine learning and building inference software using deep convolutional networks.
