Under the title Reclaiming Liberal Democracy in Europe, the RECLAIM project addresses the implications of the challenge of post-truth politics for the future of liberal democracy in Europe. In doing so, the project produces theoretically and empirically robust visions for the future of liberal democratic institutions, and develops recommendations, toolkits, narratives and methodologies to reinstate the legitimacy and effectiveness of liberal democracies.
The RECLAIM project is a three-year research project funded by the European Union´s Horizon Europe program and is hosted at the University of Iceland´s Institute of International Affairs. Main tasks

This work package therefore addresses the discursive and narrative dimension of post-truth politics by examining discourses and narratives surrounding border policies in Europe. The successful applicant will contribute to the work of the RECLAIM project by designing and carrying out case studies on the impact of post-truth politics on borders and border policies in selected European nation states and/or border regions.
