Offer Description

The HYNANOSTORE project aims to develop new nanostructured hybrid materials for use as electrodes in innovative and sustainable rechargeable batteries. Therefore, different types of organic, inorganic or hybrid materials will be developed and characterised in order to use those with adequate energy levels, efficient redox functionality and optimal electrochemical properties in batteries. The result of the project will be the introduction of a new type of electrode based on these materials. In order to prepare new materials and study them properly, two junior research fellowships are required. The research fellows should possess skills in synthesis and processing of materials, deposition of thin films and their chemical-physical and electro-optical characterization.

Yearly gross remuneration for one year: 19367.00 EURO

Eligibility criteria

Master’s Degree in Industrial Biotechnology, Chemistry or equivalent and professional curriculum suitable for carrying out research activities;  Expertise in materials science, materials synthesis and processing, thin film deposition and their chemical-physical and electro-optical characterization;  Good level of English and some knowledge of Italian.
